A bold men’s full-rim prescription frame with a broad rectangular lens shape and clean everyday styling. Available in Black and Navy.
The Owlet OWIS118 Prescription Glasses have a bold full-rim design with a broad rectangular lens shape and clean, simple detailing. The larger frame gives the glasses a defined appearance, while the smooth bridge and straight temples keep the overall design easy to wear for everyday use.
Available in Black and Navy, the Owlet OWIS118 Prescription Glasses are part of our range of men’s prescription glasses. Black provides a classic, versatile finish, while Navy offers a subtle alternative for anyone who wants a darker frame without choosing standard black.
The OWIS118 combines a larger lens area with a straightforward full-rim shape. The frame has a strong outline around the lenses, giving it more visual presence than a rimless or very slim design while retaining a simple style that can work for everyday wear.
Key features include:
If you prefer this type of structured styling, you can also browse the wider range of men’s metal frame prescription glasses available from Buy New Specs.
The Owlet OWIS118 Prescription Glasses have a relatively broad frame with rectangular lenses that soften slightly around the lower corners. This gives the front a structured appearance without making the lens shape completely angular. The fixed bridge keeps the design straightforward, while the temples curve down towards the ears for everyday wear.
Fit details include:
Before ordering, compare the frame measurements with a pair of glasses that already fits you well. Checking the lens width, bridge size and temple length can give you a useful indication of how the OWIS118 may sit on your face.
The Owlet OWIS118 Prescription Glasses can be ordered with different prescription lens options depending on how you use your glasses. Customers who mainly need help with close-up vision can explore prescription reading glasses.
For prescriptions that require more than one viewing distance, Buy New Specs also offers prescription bifocal glasses and prescription varifocal glasses. The most appropriate option will depend on your prescription and how you need to use your glasses throughout the day.
You can also consider anti-glare prescription glasses if you want an anti-reflective lens option. Your optician can advise you if you are unsure which prescription or lens type best suits your visual requirements.
The two available colours keep the frame easy to coordinate with different clothing and settings. Black gives the OWIS118 a traditional dark finish with a strong outline around the lenses. It is an easy option for work, casual wear and more formal settings.
Navy keeps the same understated character but adds a small change from conventional black. Because it remains a dark colour, it can still work with a wide range of outfits without making the frame overly prominent.
The larger full-rim shape also gives both colours a clearly defined appearance from the front. This can suit customers who prefer glasses with more presence rather than very thin or rimless frames.
Choose the Owlet OWIS118 Prescription Glasses in Black or Navy and add the prescription lens option suited to your everyday visual needs. Its broad full-rim shape and simple styling make it a practical choice for customers who prefer a more defined men’s frame.

The best guide for you is to look at your current spectacles. The measurements in millimeters can usually be found on the inside of the frame, on the arm or on the nose bridge. They will look something like this: (example) - 46-20-135
If the measurements are worn away then a mm ruler can be used to measure your old glasses.
1st number - Lens width: Related to your eye size, and typically in the range of 46 (small) to 56 (large) (where the lens is)
2nd number - Bridge width: This is where you nose sits. Typically this is between 15 and 20.
3rd number - Side Length: 130 (short), 135 (medium) and 140 (long) (from lens to the end piece of your ear) We don't quote this number as a high percentage of frames are size 135
